Just as coaching is really helpful for the coach it is just as helpful for the coachee in terms of holding them in the blue zone.
Every time we are in presence of someone who could judge us – because of what we are saying or doing – but who does not do so helps us to build courage.
Courage is another way of saying that we are going to continue to stay in the blue zone even though something challenging or scary is happening. With courage we go forward despite these setbacks.

Coaching can be formal or informal. The more informal conversations in an organisation have these characteristics the more we are building courage throughout an organisation.
The more courage we have the more resilient we become, the more likely we are to do the right thing when the choice arises.
